Allie Crummy is a singer/songwriter based in Des Moines, Iowa. Allie is contemplative, a deep thinker who does not write superficial or surface-level lyrics. Her songs reflect the tension between what she hopes and believes to be true, contrasted with what she sees happening in the world around her. And though her lyrics will always give the listener a deeper question to ponder, her music always retains a sense of playfulness. Inspired by a variety of genres (folk, bluegrass, blues, soul, pop, indie), her melodies will get stuck in your head, and they are always fun to sing.

Allie studied Music Education at Drake University, where she received a classical, conservatory-like education in vocal music. It was there that she stretched herself more as a vocalist, and learned to appreciate the wide variety of singing styles. Her own singing style is mostly a mixture of pop and soul, and is always brimming with emotion. Allie plays the piano and guitar, and is always working to add more instruments to that list!

Allie has released three albums, two EPs, and a few extra singles to date. Her first album, 'I Have Peace', was released in May of 2020, her second project, an EP, 'Every Story Has an Author', came out in November of 2020. Her third album, 'Honesty', was released on October 29, 2021, and her fourth project, a self-produced EP called ‘Those Other Psalms’ came out in July of 2022. Her third album, ‘Earthly’ was released in September of 2023. Having fallen in love with producing, she released the self-produced, ‘Henny Penny’, a concept album based on the folk tale by the same name. And most recently, in November 2024, Allie released ‘Dwindling Light’, a five song EP for the winter months.
